When country's history is to be re-written and it's glory to be rebound. When a country is on the path for perfect democracy, tremendous growth and maturity ,nature has a way of springing forth the agent of change to affect that greatness.
Let me set back my mental calendar to First Oct. 1960 When Nigeria gained her independence.Although Nigeria gained her independence on 1st Oct. 1960 the nation remain a Commonwealth realm with Elizabeth II as titular head of state, until the adoption of a new constitution in 1963 declaring the nation as a republic. The journey to independence started with some constitutional development in Nigeria, these constitutional development saw the country attaining self-rule in some quarters in 1957 and total independence on Oct. 1st 1960.
As our dear nation turns 57th.
